JAI BHIM- THE BRIGHT SPARK

JAI BHIM- THE BRIGHT SPARK

Watching the trend of movies and the genres in Tamil Film Industry, we could easily point out that the industry is trying to bring real-life incidents to limelight for its audience. However harsh, violent, inhuman or brutal, we are in this lineage of movies that shows the absolute raw nature of the real society we live in. Although these are true; here, in this post, let us see what this recent movie of Director T. J. Gnanavel- “Jai Bhim” brings us.

Let’s see the other side of what all beautiful, stunning things to notice and carry from the film.

Role of Maithreya (Teacher) in the lives of the tribes.

This character role shows the eagerness of a teacher who wishes to bring greater change to the forest dwellers with the education she has gained. Her motive to stand by the tribal people demonstrates the strength of a teacher who is a true visionary for the upliftment of a deprived society. The essence of education as a powerful tool to positively impact the lives of people who are not given easy access to education can be neatly witnessed. This also throws this question on me, how am I using my educational qualification for the society I belong to?

Lawyer- Inspector General Duo

The value of ethics carried by the duo of the judiciary and the political executive is worth to gain inspiration from. The qualities of being honest and truthful always bring goodness to society and give personal satisfaction. The movie shows the beauty of democratic system that we are a part of. It witnesses the principles of liberty, equality and justice that are upheld in this motherland, given to us by our Constitutional forefathers, for which we shall always be grateful for.

 The Nature-lovers

The tribes being guardians of the so-thought “class society” are portrayed as individuals who are not much aware of the outside world. Yet their indigeneous traditional knowledge is passed for generations after generations. Their way of living is by itself a life lesson for us moving in a fast paced developing society. To be in alignment with nature, which is what we as humans across the globe are working together for in the name of “Sustainable Development Goals”.

The Love Story❤️

The chemistry and bond of love between the lead couple, Rajakannu and Sengeni is beautifully shown in pure form. The aspiration of a man to do it all for the woman he loves is seen by how he desires to build a pucca house (house made of bricks) for his wife. The decline of huge compensation given to Sengeni is the sign of intense love and her integrity, which is intangible and can never be equated to materialistic assets.

Sengeni - The Power of Woman

The ferocious nature of a woman who stands for her values. The way the character is portrayed depicts the magma inside her which is ready to burst lava in the form of justice for her husband. Her love and desire to live as a compassionate wife, later turned into intense power for her to withstand the case, this can be clearly evidenced till the last minute of the movie.

That’s it about my angle about the movie!

We always have a lot of vengeance and hatred to talk about! For a moment, let us look at some of the bright sides in everything we see.

It has become easier to bash on social media. Share hate speech.

Can we just pause for some time, stop complaining and start seeing what amazing lessons we are learning from situations happening around us?

Shall we start loving ourselves more and spread more love to others?

Honestly, this is going to be much easier and way more amazing, not just for you, but for all!

 Spread love. Laugh heartfull.

Until my next time here,

 Cheers!
